Cleveland Jazz Orchestra

In addition to marketing and outreach responsibilities, I initiated our school-based concert and side-by-side series to engage the next generation of jazz musicians. Our audience doubled during my tenure through a combination of rebranding, venue change and comprehensive communication strategies.

moCa Cleveland

Leading a staff of twelve, I oversaw front of house operations, the museum gift shop, marketing, media and branding. I was able to increase visibility and exposure-while decreasing our expenditures with transitioning to electronic communications. I coordinated the initial communications ramp up the capital campaign to build the new museum location.

Holden Arboretum

While at Holden I developed a travel writers program to gain exposure and visibility and coordinated several large scale events/exhibits including 'Big Bugs' and the first tour of 'Garden Railroad.' I developed our in-house plan and trained staff in crisis communications response and on-camera media readiness.
